CPW Studio Co Return & Refund Policy

At CPW Studio Co, many products and services are custom-made, personalized, engraved, printed, designed, scheduled, written, or created specifically for each customer. Because of the custom nature of this work, most sales are final once the customer approves the quote, proof, order details, contract, or digital signature document and production or service work begins.
No Returns Or Refunds On Custom Orders
CPW Studio Co does not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds for customer-approved custom or made-to-order work, including custom engraved products, personalized items, custom 3D prints, laser engraved items, custom store items, website design services, website hosting/management/maintenance/SEO/social media services, tech support services, notary services, wedding and officiant services, writing services, consultations, digital design work, and any product or service approved by the customer before production, scheduling, or work begins.
Proof, Quote, And Signature Approval Policy
Before production or service work begins, CPW Studio Co may provide proofs, mockups, design previews, layout approvals, renderings, written order confirmations, quotes, invoices, contracts, service agreements, or digital signature requests. Customers are responsible for carefully reviewing all spelling, names, dates, fonts, colors, sizing, placement, uploaded artwork, design layout, material selections, project details, service details, quantities, and shipping or pickup details before approval.
Once the customer approves the proof, quote, order, contract, or digital signature document, the order is considered approved. Custom production or service work begins only after required approval is completed and any required deposit is paid.
Deposits And Partial Payments
Approved quotes may require a deposit before work begins. Deposits, scheduling fees, consultation fees, and partial payments may be non-refundable once scheduling, planning, custom design, production, ordering of materials, or service work has begun. Work may not move forward until the required deposit has been paid or marked paid by CPW Studio Co.
Custom Work Cancellation
Once a custom product, personalized item, design service, writing service, scheduled service, or other custom project is approved and production or service work begins, the order generally cannot be cancelled or refunded.
Service-Specific Terms
Cancellation and refund terms may differ by service type, including custom products, website services, tech support, notary services, wedding/officiant services, writing services, consultations, and store orders. Additional terms may be shown on the quote, invoice, contract, signature request, appointment confirmation, or project document.
Stock Store Items
Non-custom stocked items may be reviewed case by case. Items that are personalized, engraved, altered, made to order, damaged by the customer, used, or approved for custom work are not eligible for return or refund.
Coupons, Sales, And Discounts
Coupons, sales, and discounts may apply to quotes, invoices, or store orders when valid. Coupons may have expiration dates, usage limits, service restrictions, order restrictions, or other conditions. Discounts have no cash value and may not be applied retroactively unless CPW Studio Co chooses to do so.
Damaged Or Incorrect Orders
A damaged order is limited to damage that occurs during shipping or delivery. Customers must contact CPW Studio Co within 3 days of delivery and provide photos of the shipping box, photos of the damaged item, the order number or project number, and a description of the issue.
An incorrect order means the customer received a completely different item than what was ordered, the wrong product was shipped, or the wrong customer’s order was received. Customer-approved spelling errors, approved designs, approved layout choices, color/material variations, minor handmade/custom variations, and changes of mind after approval are not considered incorrect orders.
Resolution Of Verified Issues
If CPW Studio Co determines that the wrong order was shipped or that an item was damaged during shipping, CPW Studio Co may, at our discretion, replace the item, repair the item, offer store credit, or provide another reasonable resolution.
Chargebacks And Fraudulent Claims
Submitting a chargeback for a customer-approved custom order, signed document, scheduled service, or completed work that matches the approved proof, quote, contract, or specifications may be considered fraudulent activity. CPW Studio Co reserves the right to provide approved proofs, signed documents, audit trails, communication records, invoices, payment records, customer approvals, tracking information, production records, and portal activity logs to payment processors or financial institutions in response to disputes.
